Last week, media outlets from KTLA5, ABC7, & Univision34 did a series of broadcasts from West Rancho Dominguez/East Gardena showcasing our ongoing issues from the environmental issues created by the RV’s, the crime and families living on our streets. We spent the weekend working to get resources to those families in the segments. On Monday morning, we worked to get appointments with Harbor Interfaith in San Pedro so the housing process could begin. These are the efforts your Chamber of Commerce is doing to reshape our streets into cleaner, safer areas. Getting the homeless to accept services, removing the nonworking, unregistered vehicles, reporting & removing the waste and having the media showcase our efforts.
