The RV Pilot Program is scheduled to take effect at the end of May. This program will remove up to 75 nonworking, unregistered, no ownership RV’s from the streets throughout the Unincorporated LA County areas. The plan is to destroy those 75 RV’s and remove them from circulation. In addition, the county will take up to 15 RVs that are registered & in working condition to a newly created SafePark location where these individuals will have a place to park 24 hours/7 days a week and receive services including housing options. I want to be very clear with our businesses, the enforcement piece once they are removed has not been shared with us. Therefore, I am asking EVERY business owner, building owner & resident to send emails to Supervisor Holly Mitchell’s office demanding official RED CURBS to be implemented immediately.
